Shortly after women begin, ("KCB", top of 34) Dexter enters, sees women, beckons to men on Stage Right; they come in. Immediately after "the nine-pounders go", Bill A. and Jim enter, see women, beckon to men on Stage Left; they come in except Izzy. Izzy enters eight measures later, after 2nd "K.C.B."

Men occupy themselves straightening uniforms, etc. to end of song.

p. 35 No. 7: "Sir Joseph's Barge is Seen."

Men are facing away from audience at beginning.

Second measure second beat, men turn halfway, with faces toward audience (right before singing "Sir Joseph's barge is seen"). Note that song starts piano, not forte, accented and rhythmic. Crescendo at "sober men and true." Note; "Suh Joseph, not Sirrr Joseph"

'"We sail we sail": all men take two steps forward; half of the men take an additional step (so that the line is staggered).

On the second "Sober sober men and true", men move forward and form wedge.

At end of "as smart as we are" (top of 37), men run to back of stage and split into two diagonal lines.

Women immediately enter between men's lines, move about stage, and end in formation prior to singing "Gaily Tripping"

WOMEN'S FORMATION: CENTER GROUP: Anne-Marie, Joyce, Lia, Silloo. DOWNSTAGE LEFT: Diana, Michelle, Wendy, DOWNSTAGE RIGHT: Kathleen, Maureen, Christina.

DOWNSTAGE LEFT; Joyce, Anne-Marie, Diana are now DOWNSTAGE RIGHT; Michelle and Wendy are further up behind them, and Silloo and Lia in the center.

"Ladies who can smile so brightly": Men spread out into circular formation and offer right arm. WOMEN STAY STILL UNTIL THEY START SINGING "SAILORS SPRIGHTLY".

All couples are now in a circle formation: STARTING DOWNSTAGE CENTER AND GOING COUNTERCLOCKWISE: Silloo/Izzy, Maureen/Rich, Joan/Jim (STAGE LEFT), Christina/Bill A., Bill L./Kathleen, John/Joyce, Lia/Martin (CENTER BACK), Wendy/Jason, Michelle/Dexter, Anne-Marie/Bernie (STAGE RIGHT), Guy/Diana. The men are showing the ladies the ship. Act accordingly. Men walk proudly showing the ship. Wmen pull outward.

At "Gaily tripping", circle precesses counterclockwise; sailors strut proudly; they're showing off the ship.

"Poli------tely" (top of 41), all stop precessing (you should be in the same place you started).
